A bowl of piping hot oatmeal is a great way to start the day. It is even better when it is ready and waiting for you when you wake up. For this recipe I put all the ingredients in my slow cooker before I go to bed. When I walk into the kitchen the next morning, breakfast is ready. It doesn’t take long to throw together and it is so nice having a little extra time in the morning. This recipe serves 4-6 and is good reheated.
Add 3 cups of unsweetened almond milk, 2 cups of water and 1 cup of steel cut oats.
