  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

4 pita bread rounds

2/3 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon cumin

1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a small bowl combine the olive oil, paprika, cumin and salt.
  3. Using scissors, cut the edges off the pitas and separate into 2 pieces.
  4. Brush the rough side of the pita with the seasoned olive oil, stirring occasionally to keep the  seasonings evenly distributed.
  5. Stack the pita halves, rough side up and cut into 8 triangles.
  6. Place the triangles on a parchment-lined sheet pan.
  7. Bake for 10-15 minutes until browned.
  8. The chips will bake unevenly, so after about 10 or 12 minutes, remove the chips that are done while leaving the others to continue baking.
  9. Cool and store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
