4 pita bread rounds
2/3 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a small bowl combine the olive oil, paprika, cumin and salt.
- Using scissors, cut the edges off the pitas and separate into 2 pieces.
- Brush the rough side of the pita with the seasoned olive oil, stirring occasionally to keep the seasonings evenly distributed.
- Stack the pita halves, rough side up and cut into 8 triangles.
- Place the triangles on a parchment-lined sheet pan.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until browned.
- The chips will bake unevenly, so after about 10 or 12 minutes, remove the chips that are done while leaving the others to continue baking.
- Cool and store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
