Very Healthy & Delicious Meals
I am a holistic physician with a large part of my practice being GI tract health and nutrition. My wife and I bought this cookbook and it is the best one that we have ever found. The dishes are nutritionally sound, while having great flavor and clever combinations of ingredients at the same time. That is not easy to achieve, as anyone who has tried to cook non-inflammatory meals has experienced. Imagine that, healthy and delicious. If you need healing for the body and love great taste, this book is for you.
Delicious, Non-Complicated Recipes to Manage Crohn's
Emily has extensive training and experience in food and nutrition and knew that if she was going to be able to stick with the Specific Carbohydrate Diet, the food would need to be good & appealing. Thus, she developed these recipes, and as she says, "I cooked myself out of disease and into good health." This cookbook is a blessing for people suffering from certain illnesses and also for those of us who just want to eat healthier!
Easy to make and so healthy
I made several recipes and they are delicious. I have a son gluten free and now I can add new great tasting recipes. It is worth the expense you need to buy for the added ingredients you use instead of sugar and flour. A great way to start living healthy.
The cookbook I’ve been waiting for!
Finally a cookbook that I can use to make simple dinners but still provide meals for many dietary restrictions of my family and friends. I’m motivated by photos and Emily’s Fresh Kitchen cookbook has beautiful photography. I appreciate the familiar ingredients I use daily. You need to check out her list of pantry staples too. This cookbook is wonderful! My husband was recently diagnosed with ulcerative colitis and this cookbook has been so helpful! The food photography is superb and the recipes are all delicious. I am cooking my way through every recipe in it and having a great time doing so. I can't wait for another cookbook from Emily's Fresh Kitchen!
