Freezing fruit
Freezing fresh fruit is a great way to preserve it for future use. Freezing all pieces individually makes it easy to use in smoothies, sauces and desserts. First wash and dry the fruit then cut it into the desired size. Place the fruit on a parchment-lined baking sheet and set in the freezer for a few hours. Transfer the individually frozen fruit pieces to a freezer-safe container. Frozen fruit will keep up to 6 months.
