Peach Flip Cocktails

 

Growing up we took summer vacations at a lake in the Midwest with my mother’s extended family. One of the relatives would make different batches of special cocktails in the evenings for the adults in the group. They also made non-alcoholic versions for the kids. One of my favorites was the Peach Flip made with fresh, ripe peaches and lemonade concentrate.

In this version, I omit the sugary lemonade concentrate and substitute fresh lemon and honey. To make this recipe non-alcoholic, omit the vodka and add club soda after blending. This drink looks and tastes like a summer sunset. Enjoy!

2 medium peaches

1 large or 2 small lemons, rind removed

1/3 cup honey

1 cup vodka

4 cups ice

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend well.
  3. Serves 4.
