Strawberry Maca Cacao Smoothie

 

Maca root powder is a supplement with many health benefits. It helps balance hormones, improve libido, increase energy, and boost the immune system. Maca has an earthy mesquite-like flavor. When combined with raw cacao, strawberries, and bananas, it gives this smoothie the taste of a malted milkshake. I also like to add collagen peptides to this smoothie for skin, hair, and joint health benefits as well. Enjoy!

Strawberry Maca Cacao Smoothie

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

3 cups almond milk

2 TBSP almond butter

4 cups frozen strawberries

2 bananas

1 TBSP Maca

2 TBSP Cacao

3 dates, pit removed

2 scoops of collagen peptides

Instructions

  1. Place all the ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend well until smooth.
  3. Serves 4.
