Paleo Diet
The Paleolithic Diet (Paleo) focuses on consuming foods that our ancestors would have eaten thousands of years ago during the Paleolithic era. Anything produced after that time from agriculture and farming is not allowed, meaning it follows a hunter-gatherer way of eating. The diet includes meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, tubers, fruits and nuts. Paleo eaters exclude dairy products, grains, refined sugars, legumes and processed foods. Following a Paleo diet can reduce inflammation, regulate blood sugar, prevent disease and help with weight loss.
